Set in 15th Century Persia, and derived from a story in 'The Arabian Nights', this version of Cinderella, tells of Settareh, a lonely maiden who is neglected by her aunts and cousins, and tormented by her stepsisters. Only with the aid of a mysterious blue jug does she manage to attend the celebrations at the Royal Palace and win the heart of a prince. Colour illustrations are in the style of Persion miniatures.
