After their teacher reads them a story about dragons, children in the nursery class decide to make their own enormous dragon out of coloured paper, ribbons,feathers and themselves. Totally absorbed in their project, they dance away with their dragon and imagine travelling to far-off lands. This is a lovely picture book about imaginative play on a Chinese New Year theme with simple, inventive text.
